NIBE cooperates with Optilon to standardize NIBE’s forecasts and safety stock optimization during 2016.
The largest manufacturer of indoor heating products in the Nordics, NIBE, has chosen Optilon as solution provider in the work to standardize NIBE’s forecasts and safety stock optimization. The goal is to improve knowledge management with standardized forecasts which makes it easier to transfer knowledge within the organization. Standardization will also make the forecasts more stable and reliable.
As NIBE optimizes the safety stock, the work will also result in a higher service level and benefit NIBE’s customers. A high level of automation will make it possible to change work focus and put even more effort on accuracy. The work will start at the beginning of 2016 and ultimately result in NIBE’s continued market leading position and competitiveness.
”As market leader in the Nordics and a strong player in Europe, we see it as self-evident to always analyze and improve our processes in order to secure a high quality. In Optilon we found a reliable supply chain partner with long experience of doing this”, says Dan Ekener, Supply Chain Manager, NIBE AB.
