NIBE to step up cooperation with Optilon in a new project this October, with the purpose to further streamline planning and production.
NIBE, the largest manufacturer of indoor heating products in the Nordics, now chooses to expand the cooperation with Optilon and implement a solution for production activity control, production-, master-, and material planning. The new planning application is based on the latest Advanced Planning Systems (APS) technology and will support NIBE in their work to improve the planning and production efficiency while further reducing capital tied in stock. This project is initiated by NIBE’s Swedish unit in Markaryd and will initially include three production sites from the start in October.
”We always strive to improve ourselves and as market leaders it is important to both focus and challenge yourself. Optilon with their experience and profound knowledge, offers a good support in the process and we feel safe with the collaboration.”, said Dan Ekener, Supply Chain Manager, NIBE AB.
