Haugen-Gruppen will start working together with Optilon aiming to cut their inventory investment, increase & stabilize their service level, and automate the planning process.
Exciting news! Haugen-Gruppen Nordic AS, a Nordic market leader in importation and wholesales of global brands, has chosen to work together with Optilon. They do so to better control and manage their supply chain complexity, increasing their flexibility using a new forecasting, inventory and replenishment solution. The solution will be implemented in Haugen-Gruppen’s subsidiaries in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. The project will start in May 2018.
The initiative will be supported by implementing SO99+ (Service Optimizer 99+) developed by ToolsGroup. The modules for forecasting & demand planning, multi-echelon inventory optimization, and replenishment. ToolsGroup has consecutively been ranked by Gartner as a market leader in developing advanced multi-echelon inventory optimization systems. By optimizing Haugen-Gruppen’s inventory investment, the aim is to cut inventory costs, increase inventory turnover, increase and stabilize the service level, and make the planning process more efficient and automated. In addition to this, embedded Machine Learning capabilities will be leveraged to improve promotion forecasting, seasonality grouping and more. This will help Haugen-Gruppen to understand customer demand better than ever before.
