Tim Collins, Vice President Worldwide Logistics, Amazon, visits Stockholm to speak at the Supply Chain Conference in September.
The Nordic industry event Supply Chain Conference, have steadily expanded since the start in 2005. In 2016 the event made a full house at Fotografiska in Stockholm, and international speakers from companies such as Uber and Starship Technologies where on stage. This year, the conference growth continues by achieving a larger number of registered during summer, than the record year of 2016 in total.
Among this years speakers are representatives from companies such as Carlsberg, IKEA and SKF. This year’s theme is “Go digital, create value” and put focus on what effects digitalization have on our sourroundings, all the way from private life to companies’ supply chains. A major voice on the subject of digitalisation is Christiane ”Elektronista” Vejlø, tech entrepreneur, radio profile and digital thinker from Denmark, will keynote at the conference.
The world’s largest e-commerce company is also on the list of speakers as Tim Collins , Vice President Worldwide Logistics, Amazon is another keynote of the event. Tim Collins join Amazon back in 1999 and have been involved in the startup of the company. He left Amazon in 2014 to help Uber grow their business. In his two years at the company, Uber went fro 60 to 400 cities. Tim Collins then returned to Amazon, and have since kept on developing their operational business and logistics.
In a video from the headquarters of Amazon in Seattle, Tim Collins sends his greetings and says that he looks forward to the Supply Chain Conference in Stockholm on September 7th.
